I think it's healthy for a creative to acknowledge when they are jealous of someone else's work. Embrace it even. To feel humbled.
This spot for McDonald's by Leo Burnett has me feeling exactly that way. I feel as if that spot was in me, but I didn't get it out. I've actually drawn stuff like it before. Now it's out there, done, and I'll never be able to do it myself. It sure looked like a lot of fun.
I hate their product, but god damn, it's so nice to see a good ad for them.
